Experience:

 

I am a Software Engineer in Eyeball Networks Inc.. Here I am a part of a team which develops cutting edge video communication software in all platforms.

I worked as a consultant and have designed and set up complete database system for “COOPER’S” – a renowned chain food shop in Bangladesh. I used Oracle 8i in Back End and Visual Basic in Front End. For report printing, I used Microsoft Data Report.

I also worked as part-time instructor for Java courses in Institute of Information and Communication Technology (I.I.C.T.), B.U.E.T.

 

Projects:

  1. Student database system: Oracle 8i was in the Back End, Visual Basic in the Front End, and Crystal Report for printing reports.
  2. 3d Modeling: A 3d modeling software in C. Any 3d objects can be modeled here and viewed from any angle with zoom-in zoom-out capabilities.
  3. Email server: A complete email server in Java.
  4. Email client: An email client in Java which uses Extended SMTP protocol to send and POP3 protocol with authentication to receive mails. The client has the full capability to handle attachments i.e. sending and receiving them. Base64 encoding is used for this purpose. It gives facility to compose mails and organize them in folders.
  5. Fax server: A fax server in Visual C++ with web interface. The fax server was intended to be used to make international faxes using local calls. User would upload the fax page to the server via internet, and then the server would make a local call to the destination to send the fax.
  6. 4-bit Microprocessor: A 4-bit simple microprocessor with simple 8086 instructions
  7. Touch-Screen: A transmitter-receiver touch-screen using infra-red technique of decent accuracy.
